schmidt hammer lassen design has developed a new and classic range of office furniture for SA Möbler. With clear references to our nordic background and inspiration from funtionalistic design and architecture, we wanted to design furniture with a simple and logic aestetic design. By visually separating the outer and the inner parts - the protecting and the protected - we found a clear and simple balance. A balance that is emphasised in the meet between curved and straight lines and the possibility for connecting various colours and/or materials.
In our work it has been vital to create “360 degree design” - meaning that the products should have only front sides and thereby just as suitable for traditional office space and open office space. Every angle you see is just as finished as any other and therefore just as suitable agains a wall or as a freestanding room devider.
